Chief Investment Officer
Jeremy Marshall is the Chief Investment Officer of Bentham Europe and is based in the London office.
Jeremy holds a Law degree from Cambridge University and has been admitted to practice in England & Wales and the Cayman Islands.
He has more than 20 years of litigation experience and brings to the company significant management experience as well as an intricate knowledge of the local jurisdiction and market.
Prior to joining Bentham Europe, Jeremy was the head of the London litigation and dispute resolution team at Irwin Mitchell, advising clients on international litigation, civil fraud, professional negligence, corporate investigations and shareholder disputes. He established that firm’s General Counsel Forum.
Jeremy is responsible for the operations of the London office and oversees funded cases in the UK and other European jurisdictions.

Alistair Croft is an Investment Manager based in the London office of Bentham Europe.
Alistair was called to the Bar in 2001 and admitted to the Rolls of Solicitors in England & Wales in 2004.
Prior to joining Bentham, Alistair was a partner in the litigation department of a commercial law firm in the City of London advising on a wide range complex cross-border litigation, asset tracing, and shareholder disputes. Alistair’s focus is on the management of investments in cases involving securities and competition law, whilst providing support to other funded cases.

Matthew Cohen is an Investment Manager based in the London office of Bentham Europe.
Prior to joining Bentham, Matthew was a VP in-house legal counsel at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and specialised in equity-linked structured products. Matthew trained and qualified as a solicitor with Latham & Watkins and worked in both their London and Moscow offices, advising issuers and dealers on debt capital markets transactions.
Matthew’s focus is on the management of investments in cases involving securities and competition law, whilst providing support to other funded cases.
